3. How We Use Information & AI Model Training

We use collected information for business and operational purposes, including to:

1. Provide, maintain, and optimize core Yarn App features and AI reflections.
2. Train, Fine-Tune, and Develop AI Models: Use collected voice recordings, text transcriptions, interaction logs, and wellness inputs to train, test, fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize artificial intelligence (AI) models, machine learning algorithms, natural language processing tools, and proprietary software.
3. Develop new features, algorithms, analytics, and service offerings.
4. Authenticate users, process account settings, and deliver customer support.
5. Safeguard app security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.

4. Third-Party Service Providers & AI Processing

• Cloud & Infrastructure Vendors: We utilize third-party vendors (such as Supabase for database management and authentication) to host and process data.
• AI Model Partners & Vendors: Audio recordings and user prompts are processed through third-party AI service providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate transcriptions, wellness reflections, and model optimization.

5. Information Sharing, Commercial Use & Business Transfers

While Yarn Health defaults to secure data handling for app features, we reserve the right to share or transfer user data under the following circumstances:

• Business Transactions & Corporate Restructuring: In the event of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, asset sale, equity investment, or financing transaction (or due diligence in preparation for such transactions), your information may be disclosed, assigned, or transferred to prospective or actual buyers, investors, or successors.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

• Retention: We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide services, improve our models, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations.
• In-App Account Deletion: You can delete your account and associated personal data directly within the app (Account Screen > Delete Account & All Data).
